We conducted a study to examine the effects of spraying this solution on filiform papilla. The following images show macroscopic observation. In the Treatment group (used trehalose solution), signs of drayness were slightly observed on tongue roots, while obvious signs of dryness were observed on tongue roots in the control group(used injection solvent). |

The following images are results of microscopic observation. In the treatment group, surface change was slight and tongue surface remained moist, while filiform papilla in the control group became white and thin according to the degree of
dryness. |
